YESTERDAY, the 13th day of July 2021, was a mix of glamour and class as the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbado Oke-odo LCDA kick-started its campaign officially. The Campaign trail moved from the APC Party Secretariat situated at Daleko, along Ekoro Road, in Abule-Egba axis of the Agbado-Oke-Odo LCDA and witnessed a massive turnout of party enthusiasts.
According to reports, the trail moved to the convergence ground in Ward C - Aboru/Ifesowapo to be received by the artisans, religious bodies, the CDC, the market men and women, traditional rulers, the Ndigbo and the Hausa community, and a host of others and the Chairmanship Candidate of the Party, Hon. David Famuyiwa, his Vice, Chief (Mrs) Ajoke Moromoke Obe (AMA) and all the Councillorship candidates in the seven wards in the forthcoming Local Government elections billed to hold in the State on the 24th of July 2021 were warmly received amidst pomp and pageantry.

Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos StateThe Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee, an Ace Superstar in the Movie industry, Mr Aina Gold (AG) was the Master of Ceremony at the epoch making event. He introduced all the dignitaries present and a minute silence was observed for the late Council Boss, Dr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade.
In his welcome speech, the Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Mr. Aderemi Adeyemo thanked the good people of Aboru Community and its environ for standing and staying through with APC in Agbado Oke-odo LCDA. He said "the mandate of delivering good governance at the grassroot level is a priority for this present administration and the next to come". He further admonished the good people of Ward C to Vote en masse for APC on the election day.

Kehinde Shobayo, the Secretary to the Local Government; Hon. Taiwo Afeez Olasunkanmi, Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Gbemileke Adeyeni, Supervisor for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hon. (Dcns) Koyi Abiola, Supervisor for Health, Hon. Idowu Ejidiran, Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Habeeb Oderinde, SA WAPA, Hon. Gbemisola Abe, the Party Scribe, Hon Alimi Shittu, Prince Buhari Sulaimon (woro-si-woro) among others.
The Campaign schedule of activities is expected to continue in other Wards of the LCDA till the 22nd of July, 2021.
