The Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, presented the Year 2021 Budget Proposal tagged "Budget of Transformation" to the Legislative Arm of the Council at the Council Hall on Thursday.
Recall that the Budget Retreat of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA held in January 2021 where issues relating to the budget proposal were extensively deliberated upon.
The Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Kehinde Yusau Shobayo, on behalf of other legislators warmly welcomed the Chairman, the Executive Committee Members, Management Team and other stakeholders.
Hon. Famuyiwa in his speech urged the House to speedily pass the Budget Proposal in the interest of the development and the good people of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA.
In his remarks, the Leader of the House eulogized the Council Chairman for resuscitating the Judicial Arm by renovating the Customary Court which will give full implementation of what has been laboured for. He thereafter, with the support of other legislators, accepted the Budget Proposal and promised to work on it for its swift approval.
Also in attendance were the Deputy Leader, Hon. Olutayo David Akinsuyi; the Chief Whip, Hon. Olalekan Akintunde Akinola; Majority Leader, Hon. Joseph Omitogun; Chairmen, House Committee on Health and Environment, Works and Housing and Education, Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi, Hon. Olasunkanmi Olawale Adeyoola and Hon. Alfred Adebowale Adesina respectively.
