IN a bid to portray his interest and the importance he attaches to education, the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa has visited the Army Children School, Abule Egba which was vandalised by hoodlums over the weekend to assess the level of damage done to the facility.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday reiterates that during an interaction with the school management, Hon. Famuyiwa has described the incident as unfortunate while reiterating his administration's commitment to pupils' safety in all the schools within the LCDA.
He has also promised to liaise with the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) for the reconstruction of the vandalised portion of the school.
Members of the council staff that accompanied the chairman during the visit include; the Chief of Staff, Hon. Aderemi Adeyemo; HOD, Education, Mrs. Olajumoke Akinyemi; Council Engineer, QS Adesanya; and some staff of the Department of Works in the LCDA.
Similarly, Hon. David Famuyiwa, in a bid to ensure adequate and effective healthcare delivery in the council area, has also inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Meiran Primary Health Centre.
The council boss is enthusiastic that, at the pace with which the work is being carried out, the reconstruction of the PHC will be completed in due time.
