AS Nigerians continue to struggle with a record rise in inflation, especially with food items, the Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo, has expressed concern over the high prices of food items, which led to the swift action of providing cash palliatives for her immediate community to cushion the effects.
Note that costs for meals have increased significantly, which continues to affect household feeding and food businesses, such as restaurants, caterers, food vendors, and bakers. Hence, Hon. Adebajo has distributed cash palliatives of N10,000 each to community members, including the traditional and religious leaders selected from the five wards of the LCDA.
According to the council BOSS, this initiative is meant to continue monthly so everyone will benefit from this gesture.
Hon. Adebajo, represented by the Executive Vice-Chairman, Hon. Dayo Osinowo, assured the people that this gesture will be a recurring habit.
The event was attended by APC Mosan Okunola Leaders, Legislators, and Executive members.
